Todd K. Ernst

A REALTOR® since 1996; Todd is currently the Broker for River Grand Properties, where his primary focus is as an information, technology, and strategy consutant to other companies within the Real Estate industry.
Prior to starting his own company, Todd was with one of the premier Real Estate companies in Grand Rapids, Keller Williams Realty. Along with his efforts as a sales agent; Todd served as the Technology Director for the Keller Williams Michigan/N.Ohio region, and is a member of the Grand Rapids Associations of REALTORS® Technology Committee as well. In addition, Todd serves as a beta product developer for the industries leading website provider, Agent X Sites; where he was a key figure in the implementation of Property Cast™, which is an iPod/MP3 based audio marketing tool for Agent X Site users.
A staunch advocate of education as it pertains to technology; Todd's no nonsense 'Let's Get Our Arms Around This' strategy has gained him many accolades amongst his peers in the industry. His background in Interpersonal Communication, Media Production, Education, and Technology provides for a dynamic and often unique perspective for Todd’s clients and other REALTORS® trying to move forward in an often complicated world of Real Estate technology. Don’t think Todd is all tech and no talk; he considers his interpersonal communication skills and his logic based perspective his strongest assets. He developed these skills in his formative years while he attended GRCC studying engineering, before completing his studies at Grand Valley State University in the field of Interpersonal Communication.
Todd is person who puts his family priorities first and foremost. He is married to his high school sweetheart Rebecca and they have a son named Gavan and a daughter named Jordyn. His wife is the marketing and sales coordinator for Rockford Construction; hence this household has a firm grasp in respect to the goings on of Real Estate and construction in the entire Western Michigan area.
"I became a REALTOR® because I was seeking a profession where I was able to use my communication and marketing skills, all the while being able to determine my schedule and income earning capacity. Shortly after receiving my license, it didn't take long to realize that there were opportunities for Realtors that wanted to 'step things up' a notch. In doing so I became a tremendous proponent of education, especially in the field of technology and communication. I am continually striving to improve my skills and methods via seminars, designations, and about any other medium that keeps me apprised to changes.
